The duties and functions of the Postgraduate Student Society:

• Serve as a bridge between postgraduate students and the Graduate Divisions
• Enhance the relationship between students in the Graduate Divisions
• Deepen the understanding between teachers and students
• Assist the Graduate Divisions with some student affairs

Composition of the Committee:

• A new cabinet is formed in August every year.
• Full-time and Part-time PHYS/MSEG postgraduates are welcome to participate.
• At least five members, which include:
  • At least two local students
  • At least two non-local students
  • At least one first-year student

Activities:

With support from the Graduate Divisions, the Postgraduate Student Society organizes and promotes academic and recreational activities (such as student conference, movie nights, hiking trips, etc.) to cheer up students’ daily life.
