A chance for our students to take up experiential and active learning activities while visiting leading institutes overseas, so that they can gain global exposure and experience interacting with front-line researchers abroad.

Who are eligible to apply?

If you are a CUHK undergraduate student majoring in PHYS in the semester after returning from the study tour, you are eligible to apply. You should also have a good academic record and good command of English. We look for motivated students who have a solid physics background, who are independent, creative, and get along well with collaborators.

How about subsidies and airfare?

Successful applicants will be offered subsidies/scholarship up to about half of the cost. Participants will have to arrange and pay for all travel and other expenses.

Participants’ responsibilities

Successful applicants have to complete the pre-trip workshops and the post-trip reports after the study tour. Poor performance in the course may lead to his/her disqualification.
Study tour participants must follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
A successful applicant has to apply for an entry VISA by himself/herself, if needed.
